  • Corporate attorney with 15+ years of experience, as external and in-house counsel, in corporate matters, negotiations, contracts and contract life cycle management, real estate, mining, trusts, financing, litigation, environment, agrarian law, and government relations.
  • He has negotiated and closed several transactions for the mining and real estate industries, including acquisition and sale of mining concessions, land purchases and sales, industrial real estate portfolio PSAs, industrial leases (“As – Is” and “Build to Suit”), construction contracts, land access and use agreements, and development of industrial parks and mines.
  • He has advised companies in due diligence processes, financing, co-investments, business matters, and incorporating and managing of trusts.
  • As in-house counsel, he supervised, managed, and advised on the day-to-day business, administration, and operational activities, business compliance, the execution and compliance of trusts, including a CKDs (certificates of capital development) issuing trust with several investments, as well as the permitting of various projects and compliance thereunder.
  • He has negotiated and managed land purchase, access, and use agreements with ejidos and rural communities for the mining and real estate industries.
  • He has actively represented companies with government agencies, as well as with Canadian Foreign Service Officers, and participated in associations such as the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and industrial clusters.
